Tommi Häkkinen had best starting position for this race in this series, 3rd place. Everything went well until 2 laps before finish line Tommi tried to overtake leader of the race. Leader made mistake during overtake and Tommi had no room to avoid collision, race was over for Tommi, other driver won the race. Without collision Tommi might have taken his first win and first podium place for the series. On Sunday's race Tommi have long race to get any points.
