After a tense week at NOVA Sport our pitlane reporter Knotme Itwazim managed to get an interview with Paul Dover and his manager Mattseagull concerning the recent news of Jay Wellingtons upcoming "retirement".

"We saw it coming at Christmas" said Matt "Jay has underperformed, its as simple as that. He has'nt been aggressive enough in driving or overtaking, its almost as if Wellington did'nt put his soul into it"

What does this mean for Dovers future? "Not much, he has been performing well this season and still has a place here at NOVA"

So, seemingly this decision was made a while ago and only affects Wellington, but what was Dovers take on events and why ruin a perfectly good Lambo?

"Ha ha, the mobile jacuzzi was a red herring" came the response from Paul Dover "I got the Lambo for Jay, it was supposed to be a secret, its a present from the Mad Seagull squad for his birthday. I bet Welly feels a bit of a heel now"

And how do you feel about losing your team mate?
"A bit sad really, we've been at NOVA for a while and came through the academy together, its going to be like losing a brother. But i'll help Nova and Adamski all i can with his new driver"

Do you think he deserves this harsh treatment?
"Welly had been told what would happen if he did'nt toe the line"

What can we expect from Paul Dover now? There are rumours that he has been linked with a future move to F1 and those that are close to him (yes, both of you) are tipping him for UK No1, with his current rating this could be a difficult task but this could be made slightly easier with Jackson Storm being distracted by all of his promo work for his upcoming appearance in Pixars Cars 3
