Campolargo Dominates Qualifying in Baku – Red Bull on the Front Foot for Azerbaijan GP!

It’s pole position for Campolargo in today’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix, after delivering a flawless and dominant lap in Q3 to beat both Porsche drivers, Zupančič and Zakrajsek, and claim the top spot on the grid! The team is perfectly set up for a strong result on the tight and twisty streets of Baku.

Unfortunately, Germain will start from 10th after a heartbreaking Q3 run. He was on pace for what looked like a sure pole, lighting up the timing screens with purple sectors in S1 and S3 — but a costly error in Sector 2, losing seven tenths, dropped him out of contention.

The mission for Germain today is clear: minimize the damage and keep Zakrajsek from closing the gap in the Drivers’ Championship battle. With Baku’s long straights and heavy braking zones, there’s always a chance for drama and recovery.

Strategy-wise, the field is expected to go with either Hard-Medium-Medium or Hard-Medium-Hard, with pit stops around laps 22 & 37 or 21 & 36.

It’s all to play for in Baku – time to turn the challenge into opportunity.
