Vanderpuije wraps up F3 Africa title

Vanderpuije has taken the title after a very controlled race saw him take his 9th win of the season. The top three positions have been cemented as Vanderpuije sits atop the standings currently at 345 points, 67 ahead of the quick Italian Emanuele Pirro whom in turn sits 53 points ahead of Peter Body.

"I'm totally ecstatic! We exceeded all goals set for this season and everything fell into place. I couldn't ask for any more! The beginning of the season got a little rocky for me, but then things picked up at the 5th round. I had amazing competition from Pirro and Body all season and now I can relax a bit more and just enjoy the last two races. Of course, I'd love to make it 10 wins though!"

The final rounds take them to Phakisa with the last two races now serving as bragging rights for whomever the fastest man is!
