Windsor Alliance Racing Endurance Series Launch

Hello everyone, the Windsor Alliance Racing team is launching a new series for our fans & friends. It’s a fresh new concept that we’re trying for the first time. So let me briefly explain how it will work.



Much like our other series we will have an Overall and U23 competition, but unlike our other series, points are not what will dictate the final standings! That’s right, we won’t be using any points, instead we will be using the total time that each driver takes to complete each race and add it up race after race to find a final winner! And what happens to the drivers that don’t finish a race (DNF)? Good question, to those drivers we will apply time penalties based on the race winner’s time, there will be two kinds of penalties. First, drivers that DNF before the midway point of a race will get a 8% time penalty on top of the race winner’s time. Another penalty is applied to drivers that DNF after the midway point of a race, those drivers will get a 7% time penalty on top of the race winner’s time. If there are drivers that despite finishing a race have a worse time than the drivers who DNF, they will have their time adjusted and will have a final time equal to the drivers that DNF after midway point of the race. Series Rules:
• Standings are counted based on the total time each driver has, and not the points total.
• The time will be taken after each race and continually added until the end of the series.
• DNF drivers time will be taken the following way:
- Penalty for DNF before the midway point of a race = 8% on top of the race winner's time.
- Penalty for DNF after midway point of a race = 7% on top of the race winner's time.
- Drivers who finish a race but their time exceeds the time penalties will be given the 7% penalty on top of the winner's time.
• Standings by Points Total: Points are meaningless and don’t decide anything. No Prize fee.
• Standings by Time Total: The Glory of Winning! But No Prize Fee.
